Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports Kickoff!

Hey Carr Cubs! We are kicking off our school-wide PBIS program this month!

For an entire month, we will help students learn about what it means to:

Be Respectful

Be Responsible

Always Be Safe

Help Everyone Learn

Our staff will be giving students RRAH-wards where they can earn fun prizes or put their name in a monthly raffle to have snack with the principal!

Please check out our PBIS section on our website by clicking here to find out more information.

Special Thanks to Mulligan Family Fun Center for Adopting Carr!

Mulligan Family Fun Center News

Did you know that every Carr "Cub of the Month" gets a family four-pack to Mulligan? Mulligan also hosts an annual fundraiser night in the Spring and supports several of our other school events including Bike Rodeo, special Assemblies, and Jog-A-Thon. When visiting Mulligan in Torrance, you will see a few picture collages of our amazing students hung up on the walls and we are so happy to have them as our partner!  Show Mulligan your support on Facebook and tell everyone how much they mean to our school!

After School Pick Up

Please make sure to communicate the pick up plan after school each day!  For safety, we are asking that all 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students be picked up at the front gate unless you've already made arrangements with your child's teacher.  4th and 5th grade students will be dismissed from their classroom and can go to the front or back gate.  In order to help alleviate congestion at the front gate, we are releasing 1st grade students at the front gate, 2nd grade students near the east cafeteria gate, and 3rd grade students by the west gate closest to the field.  Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we try to find the best solution to congestion concerns!
